  • Tell them about specific music selections you want: Don’t just assume the DJ will have all of the music you and your guests want. Of course, you need to tell him the song you and your spouse want to dance to first as a married couple. Mother/son and father/daughter songs should also be communicated. If the DJ doesn’t have them, then you may have to supply them, but a reputable DJ will know where and how to get your music selections. Also give him an idea of what you want played for your guests.
